Brilliant opportunity to join a key division of this Iconic TV & Film Giant with a focus on budgeting & planning, financial analysis & reporting (P&L) in a broad & business partnering role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for budgeting & forecasting, P&L reporting, analysis and control of main & ancillary revenue
- Business partnering/supporting commercial teams on various commercial finance initiatives eg building out long-range/short-range forecasts
- Provide and clearly communicate insightful, concise variance analysis and P&L summaries having tracked and understood the KPIs and drivers of revenue performance
- Partnering with the business on set up and P&L recognition of commercial revenues and costs
- Initiate financial processes and value add reporting across main and ancillary P&Ls
- Maintain and accurately update revenue models required for forecasting
- You will also be the main business partner for the division for various key financial stakeholders including the Divisional MD, CFO, Commercial FD etc
- Contributing to the project teams looking to operationalise the long- term plan
- Ad-hoc project and financial analysis/modelling as required
Required Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven background in FP&A/commercial finance preferred but candidates from a pure management accounting background will also be considered
- ACA’s Big 6 Quals straight from practice will be considered if they have some media client experience
- Experience of working in a fast-paced finance department preferably with in revenue based role
- Experience of dealing with complex models with the excel skills to comfortably manage them is advantageous
- To be able to prioritise appropriately, working to tight deadlines often from different stakeholders
- A self-starter who can work without direct supervision and has a high level of attention to detail whilst being able to maintain focus on the bigger picture
- Ability to challenge the status quo and will pro-actively continuously improve processes
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
